Believe it or not, Internship Application Season is here!

Find Internship + Early Talent Opportunities
For many students, recent graduates, and young professionals October marks the start of Internship Application Season - with applications opening (and closing) in the next couple of weeks for opportunities starting in 2022. Be sure to stay up on application deadlines for internships, rotational and development programs and other professional opportunities! And keep the following tips in mind.

Find Internship + Early Talent Opportunities
Whether you're looking for experience in Sales, HR, Media, Biotech, Software Development, etc you'll likely find opportunities right on online "Careers" pages. Make a list of companies and organizations you're interested in and go to the Student and Early Talent sections of their "Careers" pages to see what listings interest you.

Tailor Your Resume to Fit Each Role
It may seem silly - but many applicants apply to positions with the same old resume. Instead check out the job description, roles, and responsibilities for the positions you're interested in and highlight those experiences/phrases on your resume. This way recruiters and hiring managers will be able to easily see that you fit the role you're applying to.

Connect with Recruiters Before Applying
Getting your name and resume in front of recruiters and hiring managers is a great way to stand out in the application process. You can find them using the search feature on LinkedIn [search "recruiter" + "company"] and send over a connection request and note to let them know why you're reaching out. Once you connect you can inquire about the role, application process, company values, and more!

Stay On Top of Application Deadlines
It's easy to forget that NOW is the time to apply for opportunities happening months in the future - but many applications are closing as early as October 15th. Be sure to mark application deadlines on your calendar and figure out what each application requires - ie, recommendation letters, resume, essay questions, etc. And allot the proper time to complete each part of the application ON TIME!

Believe in Yourself and ALWAYS Apply!
Don't talk yourself out of applying to these opportunities because you feel like you're "not as good" as other applicants, don't have enough experience, or won't fit in. Everyone has to start somewhere and applying for these roles can be one more experience to add to your resume to show off your skills! Do your best and don't tell yourself no! You never know what could happen.
